The Wendy Syman Plaque (Snowmass)

The Wendy Syman plaque is near the Sneaky's Glades on Snowmass.  She was born on August 4, 1960 and died on September 5, 2014.

IN MEMORY OF Wendy Syman, 4/08/1960 - 5/09/2014.  SYMAN, Wendy Gail.  On 5 September 2014, peacefully in her sleep at the Mary Potter Hospice, Wellington. Dearly loved wife of Glenn.  Loved and respected mother of Carl and Sean.  Loved daughter of Brian and Noeline Hawker and loved daughter-in-law of Lynsay and Lou.  Loved sister and sister-in-law of Garry and Julia.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Mary Potter Hospice, PO Box 7442, Newtown, Wellington 6242, would be appreciated and may be left at the service.  Messages to the Syman family may be left in Wendy's tribute book below or posted c/- 4 Moorefield Road, Johnsonville 6037.  Wendy's funeral service will be held at the Guardian Funeral Home Chapel, 4 Moorefield Road, Johnsonville on Wednesday 10 September 2014 at 1pm and will be followed by a private cremation.  Guardian Funeral Home   Johnsonville - Tawa - Ngaio, Members of the Funeral Directors Association of NZ.

Service Information:  10/09/2014, 1:00 p.m., Guardian Funeral Home Chapel, 4 Moorefield Road, Johnsonville, Wellington.
This appeared in the October 2014 issue of the Tiger Rag, the official magazine of the New Zealand Paper Tiger Owners Association:  "It’s with much sadness that we bid farewell to Wendy Syman. She  lost her battle with cancer on 5 September, peacefully in her sleep.  She was the real worker during our several years as NZPTOA Secretary/Treasurer, and a great supporter of the class.  We’ll all miss her at future regattas."
