Cafe Suzanne started operations at Snowmass in 1989 and before that was at Buttermilk starting in 1971. It was operated by Susan McPherson for a time and then by her son Greg. It closed at the end of the 2011-12 ski season and was demolished, and the new Elk Camp Restaurant opened on the other side of the run at the beginning of the 2012-13 ski season.
