The Ernest "E.G." Boone Shrine is on Snowmass, up in the High Alpine area, on his favorite run. The Shrine was erected in March of 2015 and I first found it on January 11, 2016.  He started skiing Snowmass in the 1960's and bought his first condo in Snowmass Village in the 1970's.  Even though he had two knee replacements and a shoulder replacement, he never missed a ski season.  He made sure all of his children and grand-children learned how to ski the mountains of Aspen/Snowmass.  Many thanks to Amy Brousseau Boone for her help with this page.
