The Scott Lopez/Stephen Fischel Shrine (Snowmass)

2012-03-23 / Obituaries--R. Scott Lopez--Alexandria, VA — R. Scott Lopez, age 54.  It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely death of Scott Lopez of Alexandria, VA/Phippsburg, ME, on March 17, 2012.  Loving father of daughters Lindsey Lopez & Sydney Lopez. Loving son of Reuben & Catalina Lopez.  He is survived also by sisters Terri Caouette and her husband Don Caouette & Celia Gould and her husband Bill Gould, brothers Peter Lopez, Raul Lopez & James Lopez, and by nieces, nephews and grand neices & nephews.  With heartfelt memories, Scott will be missed by his loving family, loving friends and all who worked with him at Naval Sea Systems Command while he served in the office of Supervisor of Salvage and Diving.  Services will be private. STEPHEN K. FISCHEL On June 28, 2008, STEPHEN K. FISCHEL, 59, of Alexandria, Virginia, died in Vancouver BC at Saint Paul's Hospital surrounded by loved ones and friends. He is survived by his longtime loving companion MaryEllen Lannon; brother, David Fischel and his wife Melanie of Idaho; nephew, Joshua Fischel and his wife, Mikiko; niece, Elizabeth Bollow and her husband, Steve. A celebration Stephen's life will be held on Friday July 25 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the North Bethesda Marriott Conference Center, 5701 Marinelli Road, Rockville, Maryland. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Stephen's name to the Wendy Marx Foundation for Organ Donor Awareness, 8262 S.
